 Phone message..what does it exactly mean
the number you have dialed is unavailable at this time...but the phone number I know is active..

Well if you are positive that the number hasn't been disconnected then it could simply be a routing error. Also, moving over to Telephony/Phreaking.

Yeah, could be a routing error, maybe its just not possible to directly reach it from your current area. Or maybe the switch was full at the time. Keep trying and maybe try getting op diverted to it or something.

I had this issue with my AT&T uverse. I could make out going calls all I wanted but whenever someone tried to call me they would get "The number you have dialed is not a working number." I called AT&T and it took them a couple days to fix it, 3 months later it happened again so they just gave me a new number. That was a couple weeks ago. So far its working again.

It happens sometime because of some routing or network problem. Contact your company and ask about that, well sometimes it happens just because of Traffic also. If it happens again and again then i say better change another card. Hope it works.
