 blocking the windows root\boot files from network viewing

Post blocking the windows root\boot files from network viewing
ive got a lot of computers on my home network and need to know how to block all the os files so that people cant see them over the net work. and im running win 7.

He's on Windows 7, as far as I'm aware there is no chmod utility. The core files used by Windows shouldn't be available in the first place, but if you're worried you could start by disabling print/file sharing: http://www.cmu.edu/computing/doc/networ ... ndows.html
